Site owner
#Editorial responsibility and nature of the site
#The site is not a press publication and is not subject to the rules laid down by Law 62 of 7 March 2001, as it is not updated at predetermined intervals. It is an informational and sales site relating to the owner's craft business.
Intellectual property
#All the content of the site, including texts, photographs, illustrations, technical drawings, footwear and leather goods designs, trade marks, names, logotypes, graphics and site architecture, belongs to the owner or is used with the consent of the rights holders, and is protected by Italian and international law on copyright and industrial property.
All rights in the models and in the photographs are reserved. Reproduction, copying, alteration, publication, distribution and any other use, in whole or in part, are forbidden without the written authorisation of the owner.
Saving or printing individual pages for strictly personal, non-commercial use is permitted, provided that references to the source and statements reserving rights are not removed.
The historic shop sign Bottega Alba and the distinctive marks used by the workshop refer to the owner's business. Any third party trade marks mentioned on the site belong to their respective proprietors and are referred to for descriptive purposes only.
Reproducing models at the customer's request
#The workshop makes footwear to the customer's instructions, including by reproducing models that the customer brings in as a photograph or a drawing. The customer warrants that they are entitled to commission the work and takes on full responsibility as regards third party rights in the model requested.
The workshop does not reproduce anyone else's trade marks, logotypes, monograms or other distinctive signs, and reserves the right to refuse requests that could amount to an infringement of third party industrial or intellectual property rights.
Site content and limitations of liability
#The information published is prepared with the greatest care. As the products are made by hand, the descriptions, colours and timings given are a faithful representation but cannot be absolutely identical to the individual piece produced.
The content concerning footwear care, foot measurement and sizes is for information only and comes from workshop practice. It does not constitute medical, orthopaedic or podiatric advice: for a clinical assessment, consult a healthcare professional.
The owner is not liable for damage arising from the use of, or the inability to use, the site, nor for interruptions, delays or malfunctions not attributable to the owner's own conduct.
These limitations do not affect the liability that the law places on the seller towards the consumer, which remains fully in force.
Links to third party sites
#The site may contain links to sites run by third parties, including social networks and external services. Such links are provided for the user's convenience and do not imply approval of their content.
The owner exercises no control over such sites and is not responsible for their content, for their personal data policies or for their availability.
Reports
#If you believe that content published on the site infringes a right of yours, write to info@scarpefatteamano.com stating the page, the content complained of and the right you claim. Reports are examined without delay.
Applicable law
#Use of the site is governed by Italian law. For disputes relating to purchases, please refer to the general terms and conditions of sale: with a consumer, the court of their place of residence or elected domicile has jurisdiction, pursuant to Article 66-bis of the Italian Consumer Code (Codice del Consumo, Legislative Decree 206/2005), while for parties who do not qualify as consumers the Court of Brescia has exclusive jurisdiction.
