This page states what www.scarpefatteamano.com keeps on your device, what it is for and how you can control it. It is provided under article 122 of Italian legislative decree 196/2003 and the guidelines of the Italian data protection authority on cookies and other tracking tools.
Cookies are small text files a site saves on the device of whoever visits it and sends back to the server with every request. Local storage and session storage do something similar but not identical: they stay in the browser and never travel to the server.
The distinction matters, because it changes how long things last and where the data ends up. The law treats the two tools alike when they are used to track people: here they are not, and the full list is below.
The site sets no cookies of its own. We use no advertising or profiling cookies, we have no traffic analytics tool, we do not reconstruct your behaviour on other sites and we do not sell data.
What we keep is four technical keys in your browser storage, without which the cart, the measuring form and the order status page would stop working. All of them are necessary to provide the service you asked for, so they do not require your consent.
Four keys, all technical, all written by the site itself and readable only by the site itself. The name is the real one, the one you see in your browser developer tools.

The site embeds no third party maps, videos, web fonts or social boxes: no external server is contacted while you read a page, so no third party service can write anything on your device while you read it.
Some links lead off the site and open only if you decide to. They are the map link to OpenStreetMap on the contact page, the WhatsApp link among the contact channels and the social profiles of the workshop in the footer. From that moment the policy of the service you opened applies, not ours.
Payment happens on the pages of the payment service provider, on its own domain: that is where it sets its technical and anti-fraud cookies, needed to complete the transaction securely.
The infrastructure provider serving the site may set technical security cookies to protect the pages from automated attacks. They are necessary cookies and do not serve to recognise people.
Consent is needed for tools that are not necessary to provide the service requested: traffic measurement, advertising, profiling. There are none here, so there is nothing to accept and nothing to refuse, and a banner asking permission for the cart would be a pretence.
If one day we adopt a measurement tool or an embedded service that requires consent, this page will state it by name and duration, and consent will be collected before the tool is switched on.
Every browser lets you block and delete cookies and site storage from its privacy settings. Clearing the data of this site empties the cart and loses the reference of an order already paid for, which can in any case be recovered from the order status page with the reference received by email.
Private browsing always starts from nothing and deletes everything on closing.
